Salicylic acid

Salicylic acid, the molecular formula is C7H6O3, is a plant willow bark extract, is a natural anti-inflammatory drug. The commonly used cold medicine aspirin is the salicylic acid derivative acetylsalicylate sodium, while amino-salicylate sodium (PAS) is a commonly used anti-tb drug. Salicylic acid is often used in dermatology to treat various chronic skin diseases such as acne and ringworm. Salicylic acid can remove cutin, sterilization, anti-inflammatory, so very suitable for the treatment of acne caused by pore clog, the international mainstream acne products are salicylic acid, the concentration is usually 0.5~2%.
